Our Beloved Son, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend, Reevis Begay, 52, entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven, Oct. 11, 2012 in Shiprock, with family at his side. He was born Sept. 27, 1960, in Littlewater, to Rosie and Rex Begay. He was born to Towering House and Bitterwater Clan, and he was born for Tangle Clan and Mud Clan.
Reevis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harley and Nellie Mark.
He is survived by his parents, Rosie and Rex Begay of LittleWater, his only child, Ramondo Begay, of Albuquerque; his only grand baby, Joel Begay, of Albuquerque; sisters, Louise (Martin) Duncan, of Shiprock, Vera (Larry) Kewangtewa, of Albuquerque, Lucille John, of Farmington, Rita (Johnny) Keeto, of LittleWater and Cecelia (Cecil) Miles, of LittleWater; brothers, Calvin (Janette) Begay, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Leslie Begay, of Salt Lake City, Utah and Chris (Lisa) Begay, of Hogback.
A visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, at Cope Memorial Chapel, 458 County Road 6100, in Kirtland.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, at Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington St. in Farmington..
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington.
The family greatly appreciates the service and care from NNMC staff, Dr. Kim Muhs, nurses of Med/Surg. unit, Dr. Miller with Home Based Care Clinic of Ft. Defiance Hospital and Dr. Weschz and Dr. Mathern at Flagstaff Medical Center.
