Our Heavenly Father called home Richard "Dick" Shelton Doolin on Saturday, June 1, 2013 with his family surrounding him, at his home, after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 14, 1935 in Manassa, Colo. to Wade and Leta Doolin Boutwell.

He grew up and graduated in Kirtland. Later he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War.
Dick resided in Wewoka, Okla. for the last 44 years as a successful business man in the food service profession.
Dick is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carmen Lewis Doolin; two step-children, Kristy Hope and Ricky and wife, Leslie Boyles; children, Misty and Mike Hamblin, Ralph and Margo Doolin, Rick and Barbara Doolin, Ray Doolin, Rodney and Bonnie Doolin and Russell and Doreen Doolin; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He loved his family very much.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka, Okla.
