Priscilla M. Hacker, our beautiful and courageous wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed from this life on May 31, 2013. The daughter of Frances Baptist, Priscilla was born in Jacksonville, Ill. on June 23, 1929. She loved and married Harold Hacker on Aug. 21, 1947 and he survives.

Priscilla is also survived by her daughters, Tina (Craig) Edwards of Aztec and Shari Herrmann of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Roberts, Whitney (Khris) Helton, Campbell Herrmann (fiance', Bryce), Madeline Edwards, Stacy (Ty) Brady and Jessica (Aaron) Stem; her brother, Irvin Baptist and wife, Marie "Jo" of Jacksonville, Ill., as well as, four great-grandchildren, Teagan, Megan, Conor and Adrienne.
Priscilla was an active member of Centenary United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She adored her many friends from church. She made a lasting impression on our hearts with her kind and giving spirit. She showed us her determination and love for life. We will miss and love her everyday.
The family would like to express heartfelt thank yous to Dr. Victor Lanzotti and his wonderful staff, Dr. Shawn Fry, Cass/Schuyler Area Hospice and the dedicated nurses on the second floor at Passavant Area Hospital.
A graveside service was held 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, south of Jacksonville, Ill. A memorial service was held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church.
The family will host a luncheon at the church following the service.
