Alice Elizabeth Trowell, 85, of Farmington, lost her battle with cancer on Thursday, June 6, 2013, in Farmington. Her earthly journey with us has come to an end. She has been received into the waiting arms of her heavenly family. She was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Tapacitos, to William "Bill" and Caroline Lester.

Alice was known for her generosity and kindness. She welcomed everybody into her heart, especially the children.
Alice is survived by her husband of 66 years, J.C. "Bill" Trowell; daughter, Pam Brandebourg; her beloved grandsons, Devon (Shawn) Wasson and Eric (Stormy) Wasson; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
At her request, there will be no services. However, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to the Connelly Hospitality House, in her name would be greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank all of the doctors who worked so diligently trying to find a diagnosis, all of the angels at Basin Home Health and Hospice and P.A.L.S. A very special thank you goes to great-granddaughter, Mikaela and all of the wonderful friends who kept us company.
