Robert Keith Curtis Jr. went back home with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, in Upper Fruitland. He was born April 13, 1976, in Shiprock, to Hilda Baldwin and step-father James Baldwin.

He grew up in the surrounding area and attended local schools. He received his GED in Taos.
Robert worked for various oilfield companies. His last job was a heavy equipment operator for Flint Energy Service.
Robert enjoyed talking about and teaching the word of God.
His favorite NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Rapherbert; father, Robert Curtis Sr.; uncle, Harold Dobey; grandmother, Fannie Curtis; grandfather, Carl Curtis; and maternal grandfather, Earl Dobey Sr.
He is survived by his sons, Felix, Fidel and Xavier Curtis; mother and step-father; brothers, Rodger Curtis, Rodney Curtis and Travis Baldwin; sisters, Jamie Baldwin, Jennifer Baldwin and Tashina Nez; and maternal grandmother, Rosanna Dobey.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at Desert View Church in Upper Fruitland, with Pastor James Fredy officiating.
Pallbearers are Arland John, Felix Curtis, Derek Dodge, Brandon Garcia, Alroy Begay and Eric Dobey.
