Braulio Montoya, 81, of Durango, Colo., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at home. He was born Sept. 17, 1932, in Cuba.
Braulio is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lusanta Alice Montoya; children, Frances (Marshall) Gallegos of Bloomfield, Richard (Carol) Montoya of Farmington, Leona Montoya of Bloomfield and Ray Montoya of Durango, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Montoya.
A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at Hood Mortuary in Durango, Colo.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Hood Mortuary, 1261 E. Third Ave. in Durango, Colo., 970-247-2312.

I didn't get a chance to personally know this great great uncle of mine. He will be missed. May he rest in peace with the loved ones we have lost. Our condolences to the family an friends closest to him.
