Eleanor Silbo Richardson, born Dec. 2, 1928, to L.A. and Margaret Silbo of Farmington. She died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, in Dallas, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Dora Proctor, Lucile Sawyer, Norma Schmitt, and a brother Lee Silbo. She is survived by a sister Pauline Niles and a brother Don Silbo, her husband William B. Richardson III, three children Jan Richards, William S. Richardson, E. Gwen Cardwell, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She studied music at Texas A&M University program at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and earned a degree in education from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She enjoyed painting in water colors and playing bridge. She belonged to the Southwest Watercolor Society, the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, and the Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas.
For over sixty years she was my wife, my love, best friend, companion, confidant and was a wonderful mother.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, in Cox Chapel, Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas.
