Rudolph Williams, 68, of 1439 Millpond Rd., Elizabeth City, died at W.R. Winslow Memorial Home, Monday, July 15, 2013.
Funeral services with military honor will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. James McCoy as Eulogist and Dr. Michael Barclift as Pastor. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams was married 46 years to Emma Louise Williams. He enjoyed hunting, and Cadillac cars and was a supervisor at Metro Machine.
Mr. Williams was the son of the late Branson Williams and the late Lillie B. Riddick Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Louise Williams; two daughters, Jennetta ReNee' and Kimberly (Daryl) of Elizabeth City; two sons, Branson Rudolph, and Damon Sawyer of Riverhead, N.Y.; two sisters, Margaret Griffin and Mary Griffin; four step-children, Glenn Evans, Lester Evans, Moncia Evans and Yvette Green; 14 grandchildren, O Mar L., Ka Shara, Kevin Jr., Kanisha, Timothy, Chabliss, Mar'Asya, Chante, Nicole, Seth, Chyna, Branson Jr., Karem and Shia; seven great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
