Suella Ferebee Dew, 88, of 118 Celeste St., Elizabeth City, died at her residence, April 30, 2014.
Funeral service will be be held at Holy Trinity Community Church, Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. with Minister Katherine Stallings as Eulogist.
Burial will be in New Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The family will be at the sister and brother-in-law's residence, 319 Ivy neck Rd., Camden.
Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements.
She was a dedicated member of the Eastern Star Chapter #33, Holy Trinity Community Church, a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Community Church Usher Board and treasurer and Hospitality. She was a retired beautician.
Mrs. Dew was the daughter of the late William Edward Ferebee and the late Berta Riddick Ferebee and was the wife of the late Willie Howard Dew.
Survivors include special niece, Arnita Cowell of Camden; special nephews, Tyrie Hughes and Tyshaun Henry of Camden; two sisters, Phyllis Jones Cowell (Cardwell Cowell Jr.) of Camden and Katie Jones Fishburne (Eli Fishburne) of Bridgehampton, N.Y.; one sister-in-law, Ethyl Hughes of Camden; special friend, Rosa Mackey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Hughes.
