Camden resident

Carol Lee, 66, of 243 East Hwy 158, Camden, died at Albemarle Hospital, Feb. 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Camden Middle School, Saturday, March 2 at noon with Elder Robert Aydlett officiating. Burial will be in New Sawyers Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The family will receive family and friends at 272 Sleepy Hollow Rd., Camden. Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Lee was a member of New Sawyers Creek, a Sunday school secretary, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She had a love for many special friends who cared deeply for her. She loved cooking for her grandchildren. Grandma pancakes, cheese eggs and potatoes. Ms. Lee was the daughter of the late William Cecil Lee. She is survived by her mother, Clara Mae Lee of Camden; two daughters, Kim Christian Liverman (Aulander) of Manteo and Valerie Christian of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Marian Harris (Herbert) of South Mills, Wanda Daniels (Percy) of Camden and Flora Walston (Shelton) of Newport News, Va.; two brothers, William Lee (Donna) of Dallas, Texas and Michael Lee (Neva) of Camden; four grandchildren, Reosha Christian, Zarreia Liverman, Tavesha Brooks and Aulander Liverman Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Jashar Christian, Jayla Christian, Jivel Christian, JiMarion Christian and Malik Stevens. She was well loved by her community, church family, special friends, many extended brothers and sisters, the Christian family and the Meekins family.
