UNION CITY, Ind. - William Howard Glunt, 70, of 361 Lutheran Terrace Union City, Ind., died July 15, 2013, at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1943, in Union City, Ind., son of the late Murray B. and Esther Cotter Glunt. Also deceased is a brother, Joseph Glunt.
He was a lifelong farmer and truck driver. Bill was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Legion Post# 158, Veterans of Foreign Wars of Fort Recovery, and Knights of Columbus Council #983. Bill loved NASCAR racing.
He is survived by a daughter, Brenda K. Glunt Greenville; four stepchildren, Angela Jensen of Hillsborough, Ore., Kami (Matt) Good of Union City, Ind., and Shauna Ward and Brendan Ward, both of Winchester, Ind,; grandchildren, Steven Sheffer, Clayton Glunt and Brian Culbertson; 10 stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and sister, Jill (Michael) Klein of Thornton, Colo.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Union City, Ind., with the Rev. Fr. Christopher Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reichard Funeral Home Inc., 400 W. Deerfield Road, Union City, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to Muncie Missions with envelopes at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reichardfh.com
