Alan Dale Hoschouer, 58, of Greenville, passed away the evening of Sept. 2, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Dayton.
He was born Jan. 2, 1955 in Sidney, Ohio, son of the late Forest Dale and Adah Maude (Weiler) Hoschouer.
Alan had worked as a construction superintendent for numerous companies throughout the United States. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Worley) Hoschouer, whom he married Dec. 12, 2006; children, Hannah M. Hoschouer, David Shirley, Joseph Shirley, Amanda Campos, Jennifer Farias, Donald Philip De La Torres, and De Lyla De La Torres; grandchildren, Andrew, Mario, Ethan, Sarah, Ian, Nadia, Saphire, Tristan, Aiden, and Wyatt; sisters, Robin (Ed) Zeller, and Katherine (William) Klaben; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Alan's life with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held Thursday, from 3-6 p.m. at the Ansonia First Church of God (shelter house) in Ansonia, Ohio.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to help defray expenses.
Services have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
