ARCANUM - Anna May Baker, 96, of Arcanum died the evening of April 12, 2014, at Brookhaven Nursing and Care Center, Brookville.
Mrs. Baker was born in Montgomery County on Nov. 25, 1917, the daughter of the late Alvera and Maud (Cox) Shank.
She was a homemaker and mother. Anna May was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Baker, who died Aug. 15, 2014, and a brother Elmer Shank.
She is survived by sons Jim (Linda Kay) Baker of West Milton and Dennis Baker of Arcanum; grandchildren Troy (Jana) Baker, Curt Baker, Rodney Baker, Scott Maltzburger, and Stephanie Williams.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum, with Pastor John Edwards officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice. Condolences may be sent to www.KreitzerFuneralHomeInc.com.
