BRADFORD - Craig W. Canan, age 51, of Bradford died Jan. 3, 2014, at his home.

He was born in Troy, Ohio, on Oct. 9, 1962, to Terry "Boomer" Canan and Sandra C. (McLaine) Nale; attended Bradford High School; worked for 30 years at RK Hydro-Vac, Inc.: and a member of AMVETS, Post #66, Covington. Craig loved horse-shoe pitching, guns, trucks and was a "No Shoes Required" kind of man. He will be forever in our hearts one of the most loving, caring, positive, never selfish, always kind, son, husband, dad, brother and friend.

Preceded in death by his father.

Craig is surived by his mother; wife of 24 years, Judy Bayless-Canan; son, C.J. Canan; daughter, Haley Canan; sister, Tracy (Canan) Hoelscher; father-in-law, Marion Bayless; brothers-in-law, Tim (Diane), Jerry (Maria), and Jim (Connie) Bayless; nephews, Ronnie, Josh and Zach Hoelscher and Jeremy, Jeff, Joe and Justin Bayless; and nieces, Jessica (Jake) Lavy, Amber (Jason) Hoop, Tara Bayless and Frani Bayless.

Memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, 5874 N. Buckneck Road, Bradford. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the time of service.
