GREENVILLE - Ernest "David" Glick, 74, of Greenville passed away on May 1, 2013.
David was born on Aug. 1, 1938, to the late Frank and Mary Gingry Glick.
David was a big racing fan and spent a lot of time at Eldora Speedway. He was a long-time employee at the bowling alley in Greenville and loved by many.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Steiner; a brother, Ted Glick and a nephew Rick Steiner.
Left to cherish his memory are eight nieces and nephews, Becky Steiner (widow of Rick) of Greenville, Ohio, Sue Holleman of Batesville, Ark., Judy Baker, Pat McClendon, Terry Glick, Janey Baker and Brenda Athmer, all of Dixon, Mo., and Tim Glick of Rolla, Mo.; 10 great-nieces and eight great-nephews and 27 seven great-great nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Jenny Glick of Dixon, Mo.; and a host of friends and other family members.
The family would also like to thank his extended family at Gade Nursing home, where he lived for many years, for such great care.
A celebration of life service will be held for David at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison.
