FROSTPROOF, Fla. - Sharon L. Absalom, age 72 of Frostproof, Fla. and formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Feb. 1, 2014 at 7:55 a.m. at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born Oct. 20, 1941 the daughter of the late Bob and Julia (Miller) Sowry.

She is preceded in death by her parents; dearest friend, Howard David Absalom; brother: Maurice "Mick" C. Sowry.

She is survived by her children and spouses: Jeff and Bobbie Emrick, Shelly and Gary Wittlinger, and Dionne and Tony Marti; grandchildren: Chelsey and Lake Hainz, Ryan and Andrew Wittlinger, Brayden Emrick, and Victoria Marti; great-grandchild: Addilynn Hainz; brothers and sisters-in-law: Russell and Vicki Sowry, and Claude and Ginger Sowry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Tom Weimer officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
