GREENVILLE — Mary Anna (Edwards) Wentworth, 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at 10:20 p.m. at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born April 19, 1920, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy and Oda (Laudenslager) Edwards.
She was a homemaker and worked at Fram for 30 years, retiring June 1, 1982; she also volunteered at Wayne Hospital and for Community Action Partnership for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents: husband: Don F. Wentworth; sons: Jerry Wentworth and one in infancy; daughter: Carol Clausen; brothers: Leonard and Raymond Edwards; sister: Leanora Hiatt.
She is survived by he children: Dixie (Robert) Jones of Greenville, Jim (Barbara) Wentworth of Greenville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
