FORT RECOVERY - Gustave C. Link, 82, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, died May 9, 2013, at Dayton Heart and Vascular Hospital, Dayton.

 He was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Cassella, Ohio, son of  the late August and Anna (Lennartz) Link.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (White) Link, whom he married Feb. 7, 1959, in Greenville; two daughters - Robin Link of Coldwater, Ohio, Marna (Jeff) Arling of Minster, Ohio; son - Scott (Lori) Link of Fort Recovery, Ohio; six grandchildren - Jacqueline, Jessica, Barbara and Gustave Link, and Alicia and Genoa Arling; one great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law - Anne Link of Sidney, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by six brothers, Meinrad (Catherine) Link, Leonard (Esther) Link, August Link Jr., Roman (Carmen) Link, George (Nellie) Link, and Edward Link; two sisters, Mary Ann (Wilfred) Klosterman, and Victoria Link.

He was former owner and co-owner of K & L Tractor Sales, Fort Recovery, Ohio. A 1948 graduate of the former St. John High School, Maria Stein, Ohio, he served in the US Marines during the Korean War.

He was a member of Fort Recovery American Legion, Fort Recovery, Ohio, and Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio.

The funeral mass will be  Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio, with military graveside honors conducted by the Fort Recovery American Legion.

Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Brockman - Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Recovery Community Foundation.  Online condolences may be directed to
