GREENVILLE - Priscilla "Sally" (Parker) Hershey, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on May 18, 2013, at 9:18 a.m. at her residence.

She was born Dec. 26, 1931 in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of the late Louis and Madelynn (Murphy) Parker.
She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, she enjoyed her family and friends at the American Legion and enjoyed cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James E. Hershey on Dec. 17, 2008, whom she married Aug. 21, 1952, and her brothers Bill, Phil, and Lynn Parker, sisters, Gertrude Smith and Louise Beebe.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Hershey of Battle Creek, Mich., daughter and son in law, Vickie and Dave Hanes of Union City, Ohio, grandchildren and spouses Chris and Nicki Hanes of Centerville, Ohio, Nick Hanes of Greenville, Heather and Jason Manning of Union City, Ohio, Dan and Amy Hanes of Centerville, Ohio, Ashleigh Hershey of Battle Creek, Mich., Andrew Hershey of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., 11 great-grandchildren, brother, Peter Parker of Presque Isle, Maine, sister Joann Everett of Va. She is also survived by Robin Brewer and other relatives from Maine and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
There will be and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service held at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #140. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com.
