GREENVILLE - Carolyn J. Miller, age 77, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Oct. 24, 2012, at 8:55 p.m. at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1935, in Lucas, Ohio, to the late John and Margarette Berger.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Bruce Miller of Greenville, Ohio, whom she married on May 5, 1957; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laura Miller of Alexandria, Ohio, and William Miller of Greenville; daughters, Kim Miller of Newark, Ohio, and Kristina McKinney of Jamestown, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Fran Berger of Lucas, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Carolyn was a graduating from Miami Valley Nurses School in 1956 working as a registered nurse in several states. She also worked at JC Penney in Greenville, Ohio, for 22 years and enjoyed painting and was an artist.
Family will receive friends starting at 2 p.m. at the church on Monday at the First Assembly of God, 7219 State Route 118 North, Greenville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held immediately following the gathering on Monday with Bruce Miller conducting the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
