DAVID FETTERS

GREENVILLE - David L. Fetters, 81, of Greenville, formerly of Painter Creek, died April 22, 2014, at the State of the Heart Hospice, Greenville.

Mr. Fetters was born in Monroe Township, Darke County on July 15, 1932, the son of the late John H. and Leila I. (Brown) Fetters.

He was a retired Monroe Township Farmer and a member of the NFO. David also enjoyed raising Belgian draft horses in retirement. He was a member of Abbottsville United Methodist Church. He was U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.

David was preceded in death by his wife Reva (Flory) Fetters, who died July 8, 2012, and sons Randy Fetters and Tracey Fetters.

He is survived by his son, Darrell (April) Fetters of Greenville; grandchildren, Chelsea (Steven) Fields, Mick (Chelsea) Denlinger, Caleb Fetters, Marcus (Tasana) Denlinger and Mason Fetters; great-grandchildren Mackenzie Denlinger, Levi Fields, Savannah Denlinger; brother Gordon Fetters of Richmond and sister Sandra (Bill) Rich of Greenville.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum, with Rev Tina Krouskop officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery.
