COLDWATER - Evelyn M. Kirchenbauer, 82, of Coldwater and formerly of Ohio City, died at 6:09 p.m. July 15, 2013, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.

She was born Jan. 4, 1931, in Ohio City, daughter of the late Halder Baugest and Roxie (Clouse) Woods. She was married

Feb. 4, 1950, at the Ohio City Church of God to Arnold H. Kirchenbauer, who died April 17, 2006. Also deceased are four brothers, Charlie James Woods, Elmer T. Woods, Halder Eugene Woods  and William Woods; and two sisters, Cora Blanche Phillips and Luella Mae McHug.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen K. (James R.) Kelch of Versailles and Laurie A. (David) Bladen of Coldwater; sisters,   Mary Marie Tindall of San Francisco, Calif., and Ilo Ebright of Celina; five grandchildren, Katie and Alex Kelch and Maureen, Nathan (Lindsey)and Olivia Bladen; and two great-grandchildren.

She retired from Federal Mogul in Van Wert after 37years of service, and attended St. Paul's Reformed Church in America, Harrison Township. A 1949 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School,s he was a member of the Silver Seals.

 Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, 616 S. Washington  St., Van Wert, with the Rev. Douglas R. Meyer officiating, and burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.

Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials: State of the Heart Hospice, Coldwater, or Trinity Lutheran Bell Tower Church of Versailles. Expressions of sympathy may be e-mailed to:
