F. Marion "Shorty" Falknor

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - F. Marion "Shorty" Falknor passed away on March 24, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.

"Shorty" was born on Nov. 7, 1923, in Arcanum, Ohio, to the late Edith and Charles Falknor.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Frances (Lehman) Falknor; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Robert Pereira of Pewaukee, Wis., and Jennifer and David Hinders of Fairfax, Va.; as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

"Shorty" worked for NCR in Dayton and retired from American Berillium in Bradenton, Fla. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy as a deep sea diver during World War II.

He was preceded in death by parents, Edith and Charles Falknor, as well as his sister, Elizabeth Swank, and brother Robert Falknor.

The funeral was held at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home, Waukesha, Wis., on Friday. Internment will be Monday with military honors in the Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Wis.
