GREENVILLE - Margaret L. Henby, age 98, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Jan. 2, 2013, in the emergency room of Wayne Healthcare Center Greenville, Ohio.
Margaret was born Dec. 7, 1914, Wauseon, Ohio, and the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Ethel E. (Barker) Geringer.
Margaret was retired from Fram Corporation of Greenville. She also had been an organist and a pianist, entertaining at the Brethren Home, various clubs and restaurants locally as well as in the Richmond, Ind., area. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and formerly served as organist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, S. Paul Henby Jr., June 27, 1991. They were married June 14, 1936. Also by a brother W. Donald Geringer.
Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Jane Henby of Greenville. Grandchildren Teresa (Jay) Molter, Kathryn (Brad) Brown and John Henby (Libby). Great-grandchildren Adam Molter, Nora Molter, Caleb Henby, Samantha Henby and Benjamin Brown. Also numerous stepgreat-grandchildren and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Joe Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery.
