CELINA - Norma (Rutschilling) Huelskamp, age 91, died peacefully on Oct. 6, 2013, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1922, in Cassella, Ohio, to the late Lawrence and the late Rose (Henke) Rutschilling. She married Roman B. Huelskamp on June 5, 1943 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1998.
She is survived by four sons, Donald (Terri) Huelskamp, Minster, Ben (Annette) Huelskamp, Maria Stein, John (Diane) Huelskamp, St. Henry, Glen Huelskamp, Celina; six daughters, Dolores (Robert) Fullenkamp, St. Joe, Linda (Dan) Thieman, St. Henry, Diana (Lavern Schulze, St. Henry, Alice (John) Otte, St. Henry, Karen (Neil) Romer, St. Henry, June ("Pic" Michael) Huelskamp, Cincinnati; daughter-in-law Judy (Bill) Broering, Yorkshire; 38 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four brothers, Elmer (Doris) Rutschilling, Osgood, Gilbert Rutschilling, Maria Stein, Wilbert (Norma) Rutschilling, St. Henry, Leroy (Doris) Rutschilling, St. Henry; three sisters, Bernadetta (Larry) Kemper, Osgood, Roseanne (Robert) Schoen, Montezuma, Connie Fullenkamp, Montezuma; and sister-in-law Mary Huelskamp, Greenville.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Dale and Mark, one daughter Jane, sister Esther (Norbert) Puthoff, brothers-in-law Aloys Fullenkamp and Lawrence Huelskamp, parents, Lawrence and Rose (Henke) Rutschilling and in-laws John and Eleanora (Vehorn) Huelskamp.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, and of the Ladies Sodality of the church. She was a homemaker and loving caregiver for all of her life.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Friends may call at the church from 9 to 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday and after Mass for a Celebration of Norma's Life at Romer's Catering, St. Henry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to State of the Heart Hospice. Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster,has been entrusted with the arrangements.
