Ronald James Ord, age 61, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Weds., Oct. 17, 2012 at 10:35 p.m. at his residence.
He was born on May 6, 1951 in Pennsylvania to the late George D. and Marjorie D. (Cronin) Ord.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Melodie Jo Ord.
Ron worked as a salesman for Service Beauty Supply for 35 years and was a business owner before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and former member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife Deidre (Suitts) Ord of Greenville; son and daughter-in-laws, Brad and Krystal Ord of Eaton, Ohio, Brian and Courtney Ord of Indianapolis, Ind., and Justin and Cathy Ord of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Chad Beisner of Grand Rapids, Michigan; stepson, Cameron Parker Lucy of Greenville, stepdaughter, Victoria Elyse Lucy of Greenville; eight grandchildren; brother and sister-in-laws, Dennis and Ellen Ord of Greenville and George Norine Ord of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Kinney of Wauseon, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to Heartland Hospice.
