GREENVILLE - Steven A. Erwin, 43, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on July 16, 2013, at 5:34 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.
He was born May 30, 1970, in Dayton, Ohio.
He is survived by his son: Max Erwin; his wife: Betsy (Hole) Erwin of Greenville; parents: Kathy (Hammond) and David Fridley of Arcanum, and Bill and Debbie Erwin of Covington, Ky.; brother and sister in law: Mark and Karen Erwin of Independence, Ky.; sisters and brother-in-law: Jill Erwin of Covington, Ky., Tiffany and Eric Ibarra of Virginia; grandfather: Arlice Erwin of Florida; his loving dog: Harley; father-in-law and mother in-law: Richard and Barbara Hole; sisters-in-law: Amy Shilt, Christy Hole, Molly Hole, Jody and Todd Harter; nieces and nephews: Josh, Adam, Molly, Carson, Lani, Cali, Libby, and Ellie.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Marvin and Hallie Hammond; paternal grandmother: Wilma Erwin.
He worked as a customer inquiry specialist for Apria Healthcare. He was a 1988 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School; a member of First Congregational Christian Church; he was an Awana leader at the church.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational Church 115 W. Fifth St., Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Ted McCurdy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
