BRADFORD - Robert "Bob" Eugene DeMoss, age 81, of Bradford, passed away July 31, 2014, at the Covington Care Center.

Bob was born in Franklin Township, Darke County, on Feb. 19, 1933, to the (late) Earl and Edna Irene (Trost) DeMoss; retired as a truck driver for Wagner Paving Co., worked for 24 years at Decker and five years for Dinner Bell; and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bradford where he served as elder; and a past member of the Covington Lions Club.'

Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Ivan DeMoss.

Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet L. (Brown) DeMoss; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy DeMoss of Mississippi, Melody and David Weaver of Greenville, Lisa and James Collins of Centerville; seven grandchildren, Robert Bagwell, Joshua and Teresa Bagwell, Jerod Bagwell, Heather and Scott Hole, Tiffany and Ed Oswalt, Jay Collins, and Elisabeth Collins; 10 great-grandchildren, Mathew, Kirsten, Katelynn, Sarah, John, Jessica, Kayla, Brandon, Julie, and Savannah; four great-great-grandchildren, Averie, twins, Nevaeh and Emma, Braden; brother, Donald Lee DeMoss of Covington; and several nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral service 11 a.m. today at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford, with Pastor Irwin Roberts officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. today until time of service at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County. Condolences may be left for the family at
