GREENVILLE - Mary L. Fourman passed away on Nov. 12, 2012, at her residence at the Brethren Retirement Community.
She was born on March 22, 1920, to Orville and Marie Lawrence, and married John S. Fourman on Nov. 7, 1941.
Surviving are a sister, Dorothy Rankin, Kettering, Ohio; sons, Dr. Michael Fourman, Greenville, Kenton Fourman, Brentwood, Tenn., and Jeffrey Fourman, Oak Park, Ill.; grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Fourman, David Fourman, Aaron Fourman, Christopher Fourman, Eric Fourman, Mark Fourman, Grace Fourman, Marie Fourman and Sam Fourman; and great-grandchildren, Hallie Fourman, Kate Fourman, Maddie Fourman, Ella Fourman, Charlotte Fourman and Jillian Fourman.
Mary and husband John were life-long residents of Greenville and had several businesses including the R.E. Wenger Co. and the Hallmark Card Shop.
A memorial celebration of Mary's life will be held on Dec. 8 at the Greenville Church of the Brethren on Central Avenue, Greenville. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2:30 p.m.Mary gifted her body to the Wright State University School of Medicine.
