Don Sigler, 70, of West Frankfort, Illinois went to heaven to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2013 in his residence at 9:30 p.m.

Don was born November 18, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ben and Jewell Sigler.
Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in West Frankfort, Illinois; he was in the Air Force; an avid golfer; he loved camping and fishing; businessman on main street since 1965; West Frankfort City Commissioner in 1975.
Don married Anita LaBotte on July 3, 1965 in Marion, Illinois and she survives.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bob Sigler; infant twin brother, Ron Sigler.
Don is survived by his wife, Anita Sigler of West Frankfort; Daughter, Donnetta (Robbie) Jent of Mt. Vernon; sons: Todd (Christina) Sigler of West Frankfort; Scott Sigler of Fairview Heights, IL; brother- in- law and sister- in- law, Ed and Sherry LaBotte of Marion; mother-in-law, Dorothy Lupkey of Marion; four grandchildren, Amira (Lucas) Crawford; Maleeka Jent; Lucas and Lane Sigler; Great grandchild, Coleton Crawford.
Funeral Services will be held at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Illinois on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Paul Brown and his son-in-law, Robbie Jent will be officiating.
Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, Illinois. Military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 1961 of Orient, Zeigler Post 177, VFW Post 5764 of West Frankfort, and the Marion National Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Trinity United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home.
