Sandy was such a vital and positive energy; I find it hard to believe she is no longer with us. She was a big part of my life when I lived in California and remained a good and constant friend even after I moved away. I will miss her spontaneity, her sense of humor and her wonderful laugh. Me Ke Aloha Pumehana Sandy.

I just heard the sad news. Sandy was a great friend and artist. Her landscape paintings were beautiful and meaningful. Sandy was always up for a museum visit or architecture tour. She will be missed by me and many others. Our summer painting workshops will never be the same.

I remember Sandy as a consummate professional, good designer, and a leader. We were both part of the Los Angeles Chapter ASID and on many occasions worked through chapter problems and projects. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
