Dear Jack,

I am a better person for having known you.

The last time I saw you was at your home and you were dressed casually, enjoying your days off, the way you deserved.

I will always remember your stories and how cheerful you always were.

I still remember the one of how you came to acquire your nickname. Good stuff.

They broke the mold when they made you.

Keep Heaven safe, my friend.

My condolences to the family. I best remember Jack as teenagers living in the same neighborhood, our shared friends, and that he had a wonderful singing voice. The good times had by our group are still alive in memory. As all do, we grew up and went our separate ways. It saddened me greatly to read of his passing. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
