Mary "Cuatie" Alepe
Mary was born January 14, 1930 in San Pedro, CA and passed peacefully surrounded by her children on June 25, 2013 after a battle with COPD. She was a florist with Masseys Flowers for over 20 years. She loved baseball, playing bingo and going to casinos. Mary loved animals and was known to feed the squirrels and stray cats where she lived. She is survived by her children, Amanda (John), Yolanda, Frank (Alba); 5 grandchildren, Jonathan, Gabriel, Emilio, Rocio and Camila.; 2 sisters, Ordey Soto and Josie Zamacona; and several nieces and nephews. She is pre deceased by grandson, Brandon. Services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10am at Funeraria del Angel McNerney's Mortuary, 1640 N. Avalon Blvd. Wilmington, CA followed by internment at Wilmington Cemetery. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze. com/obits.

I became acquainted with Mary through her Sister Mina Chavez. Mary would come to Albuquerque to visit Mina. I live(d) in the same complex. Mary could make an ordinary day seem so special. She was bright & cheerful. I certainly enjoyed her visits.
