For some reason my name was omitted on the message I left.
This has been a difficult month for my former classmates. Three parents in two weeks. Cindy, Susie and now Jane and Lucinda.
All of us were fortunate to have had the wonderful parents we had and their memories and life's lessons will always be with us and will sustain us until we meet them again in a better place

When I came to TRW in 1972 Roy was a respected member of the DSP assembly and test mechanical crew. I am sad to hear of his passing but will always remember his accomplishments and dedication to the tasks assigned him.
Roy was a good man.

Roy Gunn will be profoundly missed not only by his family but by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was, indeed, the "real thing". Roy was a great storyteller. I will never forget his kindness, sincerity and sense of humor. I know my life was one of many that was touched by Roy in a very positive way.

My heartfelt condolences extend out to all Roy's family during this time of sorrow. As a very young man I had the great fortune of meeting Roy and working daily with him until he retired from TRW. We shared many fond stories and lessons from life, even though our ages were decades apart. Even to this day I vividly recall how enthusiastic he became when talking about his grandson Josh. At that time Josh was very young, but that didn't stop him from being a huge baseball fan. As I recall he could probably name every player in Major League Baseball and his favorite team was the Oakland A's. I always looked forward to seeing Roy after he spent time with Josh because I knew he would have an upbeat story to tell. My hope at this time is that Roy's family can find some comfort in knowing he touched many who knew and worked with him throughout the years.
Sincerely,
Tim Wright
