Alfonso (Al) Ocampo Alfonso (Al) Ocampo, a long time resident of Rancho Dominguez, CA passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 4, 1921 to Alfonso Sr., and Jennie Ocampo. Al graduated from Roosevelt High School in East Los Angeles in 1941. He retired from the Torrance Unified School District in 1983 after 17 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary, after 39 years of marriage, his two sons, Raymond (Gail) and Richard, step children; Mark (Joan), Nancie(Rick), Robert; niece, Dianne Pales and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Al enjoyed jazz and big band music, car racing, Pacific Electric cars and politics. He was a member of the Masonic Torrance University Lodge and Al Malaikah Shrine Temple. He and his wife enjoyed traveling on several cruises and attending jazz festivals. Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in RPV on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Cryptside services to follow at 2:00 p.m. All who knew Al will always remember his warm smile and caring nature. He will be greatly missed! Donna Mary Osborne Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and best friend Donna Mary Osborne passed away on June 20, 2015 at the age of 79 surrounded by family and friends. After 28 years, she went home to join her late husband Herbert. Born in Parkston, South Dakota, she grew up in Santa Monica, and remained close to the South Bay area raising her five children in Hermosa Beach and finally retiring in Rancho Palos Verdes. She worked for 30 years in administrative positions in the aerospace and airline industries. Donna was a world traveler having visited many countries and was always ready for an adventure. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching golf on TV. Donna is survived by her sons, Russell (Jackie), Patrick, Jeff (Rebecca), daughters Tarin Osborne Long (Rick Beirold) and Susan (David) Moherman, grandchildren Darin, Danielle, Chelsea, Torrey, Kathy, Justin, PJ, Joey, Jenna, Erin and great grandchildren Autumn and Benjamin. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10, 11am at McNerney's Mortuary 570 W. 5th St, San Pedro with a luncheon immediately following at Ports O' Call Restaurant.
