Moine, David William
David William Moine David William Moine was born on March 31, 1957 to Tony and Molly Moine. He departed from this life on February 15, 2015. He grew up in Carson and had fond memories of his humble home on East 220th Street, where he and his three brothers, Chuck, Don, and Mack, were a constant fixture in the neighborhood. He spoke proudly of his mother's organic garden and marveled at the size of its produce. After graduating from Carson High School in 1974, Dave attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where he made the Dean's Honors List several times. In 1978, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology. Never one to dabble in one field, Dave worked in various engineering positions at his family's contracting business Moine Brothers, at the respected think tank Santa Barbara Research, and at Josten's in Santa Barbara. It was at Josten's that he met the love of his life, Joann Sandoval. Dave and Joann married in 1987. They made their home in the South Bay, where they raised their two children William and Christina. Dave pursued a passion for entrepreneurship, receiving his state contracting license in 1990 and his real estate broker's license in 1995. He even founded his own business, D.W. Moine & Associates. Dave is best remembered for his life-long love of music, learning and his affinity for talk radio. He was always willing to help others and enjoyed bike-riding with his family. He was fiercely loyal to the Los Angeles Dodgers and loved hearing the games on the radio and television, as well as attending the games at Dodger Stadium with his family. Those who knew him best could always count on Dave for an anecdote or a quote to perfectly summarize the situation and for his great sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife, children and his two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mack. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 7th at the Seaview Villas Clubhouse at the corner of Crest Road and Highridge Road in Rolling Hills Estates from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Gifts in his memory should be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Please sign the guest book at www.dailybreeze.com/obits .

TONER, HENRIETTA
In Loving Memory Henrietta "Rett" Toner 3/8/1946 - 3/2/2014 Rett, this was the hardest year of my life. After 32 years, our time together may not have been as long as we had planned. I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping. I have you in my heart. Your ever loving husband, John "Scotty" Toner
