Alan Patrick "AJ" Bush

Was a man who loved life and loved people. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, give a big hug and provide a listening ear. He was a man who stood strong in his beliefs and fought for them with complete conviction. Alan was born on August 20, 1956 in Hawthorne, California. He passed on January 25, 2013 in Harbor City, California at the age of 56 years, 5 months. He is survived by his Father, Robert Victor Bush, Stepmother, JoAnn Bush, Sister's, Carol Bush-Fagan, Nancy Bush-Baune and brother, John Bush, nephews, Stefan Lee Bernhardt, Kyle Kenichi Hashimoto, Shawn Michael Baune and Justin Alan Bush. (and his cat "Sable"). Preceded in death by his older brother, Robert "Robbie" and his mother, Ellen "Pat" Bush. Alan achieved the highest level in the Boy Scouts of America receiving Eagle Scout. He graduated Leuzinger High School in 1974. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force in fire protection services in the Panama Canal Zone. After serving our country he worked at Rockwell International in El Segundo, California. He lived in Colorado for a bit, and then returned to his beloved Southern California. He enjoyed surfing, throwing darts and shooting a good game of pool. He also enjoyed going to Mexico and a recent birthday trip to Vegas with his friends and fellow co-workers at the Home Depot in Torrance. Alan was blessed with a gift of gab, his great stories and sense of humor and a love for his family and friends. Alan "AJ" you are going to be greatly missed. Services will be held at A.M.
