Lonnie Comstock 64, passed away with his wife and children by his side on February 13, 2013. Lonnie was born to Lee Roy and Riva Fay Comstock in Los Angeles, CA on November 8, 1948. He met and married the love of his life, Charlene, on July 4, 1983 in Manhattan Beach. Lonnie graduated from Torrance High School, Torrance, CA, attended El Camino College, Torrance, CA. He worked at Mercedes Benz in Redondo Beach, Peyton Cramer Ford in Torrance; Lonnie and his wife later opened their own jewelry shop, The Jewelry Affair, in Hawthorne, CA. Lonnie enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles. He loved life, boating, family vacations and in his later years he discovered fishing. In the last several years before his illness he enjoyed truck driving and seeing the country while driving his 18 wheeler. Lonnie is survived by his wife, Charlene of 30 years; brothers, Ernie Comstock; Jim Comstock; David Valadez; daughters, Lori Jeffreys; Jennifer Miller; and Mary (Marty) Terry; son, Les (Sue) Ingram; grandchildren, Alexandra Quintana, Jacob Miller, Tanner Miller, Aundrea Ingram, Andrew Ingram, Kayla Terry, Haden Terry, Sage Terry, and friends. Lonnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those who knew him.
