Dorothy Petrat Obituary
Beloved daughter, wife and grandmother
Born of John A. Pyron and Virginia Pyron, joined her husband, Roland Petrat in eternal life on December 13, 2010. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Steven and Robert and many grandchildren. Dorothy was very active in the Torrance community. She had been a longtime member of the Torrance Women's Club, Redondo Beach Elks and was a volunteer at Torrance Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending the holidays with friends and family. She will forever be remembered and loved. Private services for family and close friends will be held by the Neptune Society in San Pedro on Sunday, January 9, 2011 when both Dotty and Roland's ashes will be spread at sea together. A celebration of life luncheon service will held at The San Franciscan Restaurant, 2520 Sepulveda Blvd. in Torrance on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 1:30 p.m.

Dear Steve & Bob,
I lived across the street from you on Maple. I knew your parents from the time I was two. Very long time ago. Your parents and mine use to play cards together and get together at each others house. They always had such a good time with both Pete and Dotty.
Your Mom always cut my hair until I probably was in high school. She was very good!
I also remember baby sitting for both of you. Your parents would come home from an outing and I would pretend I wasn't asleep, of course I always was!
They were very nice neighbors and friends and will be missed by all.

We have such good memories visiting with Dottie and Pete at the San Franciscan on New Year's Eve.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
