Anne Faren Obituary

Anne Virginia Faren was born April 16, 1911 in Buffalo, New York. She later lived in Martins Ferry, Ohio until she moved to Torrance, California in 1942. She worked at McCown Drug Store in downtown Torrance and also for Doak Air Craft as a machinist during the war. She was an active member of the community and belonged to Easter Star, White Shrines, American Legion, and the Normandale Senior Citizen's Club. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on September 4, 2010. Anne is predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert Faren. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Suzi Faren; her sister, Josephine, of California; her brothers, Charles, of Florida, and Michael of Ohio; and many other dear friends and family members. A private burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Anne's name.
