Muriel went to rest October 7, 2012 at age 87 at her home in Torrance, CA surrounded by her family. Services will be held at Inglewood Park Mortuary located at 3801 W. Manchester Blvd. in Inglewood, CA on Saturday, October 20th at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel. Graveside services will follow. Muriel was born April 2, 1925 in Ransom County, North Dakota and moved to sunny California in 1952 when she and Herman packed up the family and left the farm forever. She worked in the aerospace industry for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; sister, Delores; and brother, Victor. She is survived by her son, Michael and wife, Barbara of Fountain Valley, CA; daughter, Nelda and husband, Fate of San Juan Capistrano, CA; daughter, Marcia of Torrance, CA; daughter, Naomi and husband, Jim of Lawndale, CA; and daughter, Brenda of Canyon Lake, CA; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
