Donald Adamson, Jr. Obituary
Don, born in Burbank, California, was younger brother to sister, Beverly Veintimilla and older brother to Darrell Adamson. The Adamson brothers have been highly respected general contractors for over 30 years. Always a loving family man, he is survived by six children, Valerie Adamson, David Adamson, Suzie Beck, Donielle Adamson (Byron), Marisa O'Connor (Kyle), and Lewis Schulz; seven grandchildren, Jasyn, Erin, Rylie, Ryan, Cody, Angelyn, and Cheyenne; and three great grandchildren, Morgan, Oakley, and Rosalie. Don and his loving and devoted wife, Jackie, looked forward each summer to camping with as many of the family that could be gathered for as long as possible. As an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a strong Christian servant, Don generously shared his considerable talents and wisdom with many, creating lasting friendships. During his illness, Don and Jackie were constantly surrounded with love, prayer and service. The family is sincerely grateful for your many kindnesses and courtesies. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1350 W 25th Street, San Pedro, California 90731 on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm. I am so sorry to find out about Don. A really special man and great example of courage, love and faith. I just found out through an email. I am currently out of the country until Nov. 22 so I will miss the services. My prayers are with you and all the family. May God embrace you all in consolation.

Don will truly be missed. He was always very kind to me and I considered him my friend. I know he's in a better place and free of pain, but it's so hard to believe that he's no longer here with us.

It is with deep sadness that I acknowledge Don's passing. I only met him once, but it is very obvious from reading the other messages that he was a wonderful, loving, giving, and righteous person. Jackie, may your many fond memories sustain you and the family during this most difficult period of time. Being a man of God we know that Don is in a better place, and free of pain and suffering.

Our loss is so deep and great with the passing of Don. I believe if given the choice, Don would rather be in a meeting helping people than in to be in Heaven! what a loving and giving friend to all of us. God bless you Don, We Love You!

I love Don and have sat with him as often as possible just because I knew that he had what I wanted. He has peace and serenity. He was always willing to help anybody anytime. He has good common sense. I will miss him terribly.

Uncle Don was a wonderful person that we will miss a lot. I remember as a kid, he always made me smile. He was such an inspiration to everyone he was around. Don was a wonderful man and I am blessed to have known him. I will never forget the many times we spent together and the laughter we shared while camping, going on vacations, Friday night dinners or just playing scrabble.
