Dorothea A. Cusolito Obituary

Born on April 21, 1934, Dorothea passed away on November 15, 2010 after a three month battle with cancer. Dorothea was born and lived her entire life in San Pedro. She was married to her beloved husband, Raymond for 53 years, who preceded her in death in 2009. Dorothea worked for many years as an office manager for the Palos Verdes Estates Country Club, and for the UFCW Retail Clerks Union Local 905 from where she retired. She is survived by her children, Maria (Jose) Olmeda, Domenic (Theresa) Cusolito, John (Debbie) Cusolito, and Lisa (Edward) Beverly. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Briana, Andrea, Joseph, Domenic, Matthew, Caroline, and Raymond. Dorothea is also survived by her sister, Maria (Bill) Kerbow of Lake Havasu, AZ. Dorothea's passion was baking traditional Italian desserts with her husband and sharing them with her family and friends. Her other passion was her seven grandchildren who she forever spoiled and cherished dearly. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00am with visitation at 9:30am. Burial will be private.
