Douglas J. Ingram

Douglas J. Ingram, 85, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, October 2, 2010. Born near Syracuse, NY, he had lived in California since 1951. Douglas performed nearly 3 years of service with a US Army Infantry regiment. He worked for the old Hughes Aircraft Company as an Electronic Test Technician for over 36 years. Douglas was married to his beloved wife, Louise, for 55 years. Together they raised their children, Martin, Jill, Jerry, Lorna, and Rob in Hawthorne. In his younger life he visited relatives in the eastern part of Scotland. He traveled with Louise extensively to visit great parks, museums, churches and cities through the western half of the US and Canada, and also visited Florida. Douglas is survived by his children, Martin, Jill, Lorna, Rob; three grandchildren, Nick, Kris, Cari; and his brother, Munro. The service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance on Thursday, October 7 at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
