Fred Thomas "Tommy" Harris, Jr.
Fred Thomas "Tommy" Harris, Jr. passed away in Torrance on May 25, 2012. He was 58 years old. Born in Flint, MI, Fred moved with his family to Redondo Beach at a young age. Fred attended Redondo Union High School until 1971, when he enlisted in the army. After serving, he returned to the South Bay and lived there for the remainder of his life. He was an active member in the RB Eagles Lodge, and was a faithful employee of Coinstar for 17 years. Fred is survived by his wife Maureen, his children Amber, Cassandra, and Thomas, his mother Judy Cain, three brothers, and a sister. Services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10 AM at The Harbor Church, located on 25401 S. Western Ave, Lomita. A procession to Pacific Crest Cemetery will follow after a light reception.
