Gladys Duffill Obituary

Gladys Elizabeth Duffill, a longtime resident of Redondo Beach, California, passed away on October 23, 2010. Gladys was born in Baraga, Michigan on September 6, 1935. Mrs. Duffill was a wife, mother and homemaker. Some of the things she enjoyed included knitting, bowling, reading and baking. A former resident of Michigan she moved to Redondo Beach in the 1950s. She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Andy) Turda, Lauri (Marc) Everlove, Pam (Ron) Pickering; and her six grandchildren, Rachael, Courtney, Megan, Kenneth, Drake and Thomas. She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Rajala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Duffill and grandson, Lance. A memorial service of friends and family will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Rice Mortuary Chapel, 5310 Torrance Blvd., in Torrance, CA. Her ashes will be scattered on her farm in Baraga, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org).
