Grace (Grgica) Vulin, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teta and friend passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born on February 1, 1922, in Kukljica, Croatia, to Tome and Cvijeta Belic. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ante Vulin. Together they raised three children: Anthony (Paula) Vulin, Miranda (Albert) Jelenic, and Fred (deceased) (Nancy) Vulin. They had 8 grandchildren: Thomas (Tamara) Jelenic, Michael (Maggie) Jelenic, Kristina (Joe) Marusic, Ana Jelenic, Anthony Vulin III, Marie (Antoni) Viducic, Ante (Emily) Vulin and Nels Vulin. They also had three precious great-grandchildren: Mate Marusic, Luka Marusic and Mia Viducic. Grace was also preceded in death by her brother Ivan, sisters Nada Kaica and Anica Cukar, half-brother Ante, and half-sister Marija Lonich. Grace loved cooking, dancing, reading, gardening and being with family and friends. She was involved with various PTA's and raised funds for several charities. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers Marija Rovcanin and Zivka Galic, and to Trinity Care Hospice for their loving care. Visitation will be held at McNerney's Mortuary on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Mary Star of the Sea Church at 10:30am on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, followed by entombment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
