Jim was the one who invited me to work as a weekday lay sacristan at St. James in 1993 and so for about 9 years I'd be helping set-up the church with Jim for the 8:00 a.m. Mass. Every morning begins as a day of laughter with Jim - I remember him cracking up this line: Every morning I check the obituary to see if my name is in it.

So very sorry for your loss. I feel fortunate to have know Jim for many years, from our High School years, into to adult years. Always enjoyed running into him in the South Bay towns and Bank of America in Hermosa Beach, when he would stop by for a visit. I will miss him.
