1923 - 2014 Obituary Condolences
James Bryer
James Bryer of Harbor City passed away peacefully in his home on June 17, 2014. A member of our country's "Greatest Generation", he was born in Peerless, Utah on the Twenty-Third of July, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty Three. "Jim" served his country as a Navy diver in the Pacific during WWII. After the war, he spent 25 years on the waterfront as a proud member of the ILWU and was involved as a lifetime member of the Lomita VFW. Jim is survived by his daughter Jodi, son in law John, and a group of very caring friends. His sense of humor will be missed by all. Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Monday June 23rd at 11 AM with a reception immediately following at the Lomita VFW. Visit amgamby.com/obits or dailybreeze.com/obits.
