Obituary Condolences

James George Singiser

1930 - 2012

Jim Singiser, longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, passed away on the afternoon of December 10th at his home in Hacienda Heights as a result of congestive heart failure. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded with love by the presence of his wife of 44 years, Maxine, and his four children. Singiser worked in real estate in the South Bay until his retirement in 1998. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he served in the United States Navy during the 1950s. In his later years, he developed a passionate love for fishing and spending his summers on the lakeshores of the Sierras. He also was a devoted sports fan, particularly of his beloved UCLA Bruins, and the Arroyo Knights, the school where his eldest son serves as head football coach. Jim is survived by his wife, Maxine; his four children, Wendie, Linda, James Barry, and Steve, as well as their spouses. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. A Memorial Service in Jim's memory will be held on Saturday, December 15th at 1:00 P.M. at Pierce Brothers Mortuary, located at 1136 East Las Tunas Drive in San Gabriel, CA.
